I recently shot my first red carpet event for the AP, a promotional press conference for the upcoming fight between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas. None of the press photographers I met there expected it to turn into a madhouse the way it did, but when the big-time celebs – namely Mickey Rourke and Mark Wahlberg – started showing up all bets were off.
