DZP for ProSales Magazine

A couple months ago, I did a shoot for ProSales Magazine, a trade magazine focusing on the construction supply business. The article profiled Steve Gardner, owner of L.A. Roofing, and was shot at his supply yard near downtown Los Angeles. The shoot was challenging, as we didn’t actually have a roof to shoot on, but rather a roofing supply lot with a lot of roofing materials wrapped in plastic, ready to be hauled to various construction sites. Add to that, it was high noon and the sun wasn’t making the scene any prettier. Fortunately, Steve was a great subject and was willing to work with me as I asked him to stand or sit on different stacks of roofing shingles in a covered section of the warehouse searching for the right frame. His cooperation paid off as everyone involved was pleased with the results!
